I’m thrilled to be taking part in the brand-new Bermondsey and Beyond Literary Festival, organised by Southwark Council. I’;m particularly delighted about this as I live in the area and my new book, The Bermondsey Murder, is about the iconic historical homicide of Patrick O’Connor by Frederick and Maria Manning which also took place nearby in 1849.
